Starting a new group is easy!
- Log in: then click "create group" on your Member Home Page.
- Choose a name: give your group a unique name that will be recognisable to the commuity you have in mind.
- Add a description: you can also add a description describing the purpose of the group, who it's for, and any rules you have in mind.
- Share your group: once a group is started, you can send the name to the people you want to join. They will need to become a kin member to join.
- Admins: The person who starts a group becomes that group's admin. Groups need multiple admins so that no admin can approve a request for money from themselves. Admins can promote other members to be admins. As an admin, you are more responsible for your group and should approve requests quickly and help to resolve issues. Groups work best when admins aren't tyrants - ask your kin for their opinions and for help when you need it.
