Your Kin Cooperative Terms of Service ("Agreement")

This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of Kin services.
By using or accessing Kin services in any way, including viewing or browsing www.kin.coop, or by adding your own content, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service. Any participation in Kin services will constitute acceptance of this agreement.
In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. If you do not agree to abide by the terms herein, please do not use Kin services.
Intellectual Property
The Site and all of its original content are the sole property of Kin Cooperative Limited and are, as such, fully protected by the appropriate international copyright and other intellectual property rights laws.

Kin services may contain a number of links to other websites and online resources that are not owned or controlled by Kin Cooperative Limited
Kin has no control over, and therefore cannot assume responsibility for, the content or general practices of any of these third party sites and/or services. Therefore, we strongly advise you to read the entire terms and conditions and privacy policy of any site that you visit as a result of following a link that is posted on our site.
Membership
Anyone who shares our Mission and Principles and wants to use Kin services is welcome to join.
In order to access Kin’s services, you must become a Member of Kin Cooperative Limited by buying one share at the cost of £1. This share is not withdrawable and will not be returned to you if you terminate your membership or for any reasons.
This share makes you a co-owner of Kin Cooperative Limited and gives you one vote in the annual general meeting, which will take place online. All voting and governance interactions with the Cooperative will happen by email or via Kin services unless Kin is explicitly informed of a Member’s reasonable need for alternative forms of communication to enable fair participation.
We aim to create a safe community and build trust, therefore, we expect user members to:
- Provide accurate information about yourself;
- Only create one account (your own) and use it for personal purposes.
- Not share your password, give access to your account to others or transfer your account to anyone else.
You cannot use Kin if:
- You are under 13 years old.
- You have previously been suspended or banned for breach of these conditions.
Moderation
Kin Cooperative moderates all content on Kin services including user-generated content (i.e. posts and direct messages).
Termination
Kin Cooperative reserves the right to terminate your access to Kin services, without any advance notice.

Fiscal Host
Not a bank.
We hold money.
Groups must operate lawfully and according to our Ts & Cs and the Ts & Cs of our bank.
We bank with the Co-operative Bank.

Accuracy
This site and its components are offered for informational purposes only; this site shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information.
Termination
We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account. All provisions of this Agreement that, by their nature, should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Kin Cooperative Limited reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms.
If there are any changes to our privacy policy, we will announce that these changes have been made on our home page and on other key pages on our site.
If there are any changes in how we use our site customers' Personally Identifiable Information, notification by email or postal mail will be made to those affected by the change. Any changes to our privacy policy will be posted on our site 30 days prior to these changes taking place. You are therefore advised to re-read this statement on a regular basis.
