Kin is a co-operative
Kin isn’t like one of those Big Tech corporations, Kin is a Co-operative and that means every user is also a member and an owner of Kin Co-operative with an equal voice in how the organisation is run - there are no wealthy shareholders taking a cut - because we believe it's better that way.
What is expected of me?
Once you buy your £1 (non-refundable) membership share, you will have an equal vote on all the important decisions and be able to use Kin services.
All members are expected to abide by the membership code of conduct and the rules of the cooperative (linked below). Bottomline:
- Kin groups are for financial mutual aid: people pooling money to do more together than they could do alone.
- Kin groups are not for any individual(s) to profit at the expense of others.
Welcome to Kin!
