Money request process

Click the request money button on your group page and enter the amount, your bank account and your bank's sort code. 

IMPORTANT: your bank details must be YOURS and must be exactly as they appear on your bank card - you cannot request money to anyone else's account. 

You will be asked to choose personal use or group use. Read the next FAQ here to learn more.

How long does it take?

This depends on your group admins. After you submit the money request, a notification is sent to your group admins to approve the request. Group admins may deny money requests if they have not been approved by the group so make sure the amount you are requesting has been agreed before making the request to avoid any delays. 

Once the admins have approved your money request, the Kin Cooperative team will make the payment to your account details that you provided. This usually happens within a few hours but can be slower on the weekend. You will receive an email when the money is on its way to your account.
